Update on our Food Distribution work with Avalon & Food Gatherers! I'm still raising funds for the creating.care effort - I'm a little over halfway to the ambitious $1,000 goal I set, and would love to see us hit it by the time these distributions go live give.foodgatherers.org/campaigns/41...

Hey, I am hoping to be back around here a bit more soonish. My dad's been in the hospital. He's now in a rehab place to regain some strength & stability, and if that works, I'll be able to pick up some more of my normal things like Neighborly Actions & lukewarm takes on community participation

Periodically I am saying this! They have yet to invent a non-annoying person
People who don't want to take part in the annoying parts of being in community suffer under the delusion that They are the only not annoying person on earth. It is thus an imposition that they, the least annoying person on earth, should have to deal with being annoyed
When we live in an individual mindset, being asked to do anything for others without profit or advancement of some kind feels useless, uninteresting, or burdensome.

There will be a Palestine contingent. We are meeting at City Hall at 1 and will join the March when it comes by. The anti fascism movement must center Palestine. Both Israel and the far right use same weapons and same tactics to enforce their violence.

EMS called to ICE facility bc protestor has broken collar bone (!). ICE agents then refuse to let EMS ambulance leave. EMS driver puts ambulance in park, which makes the vehicle lurch slightly. ICE agent then get up into the cab threatening to shoot driver in the head
