Projects like this do nothing for economic development. They simply encourage more sprawl and suburban ponzi scheme "growth". MnDOT and others like the senator here completely undermined the effectiveness of the Northstar commuter train while encouraging climate- and economically-damaging land use.
After 50 years, the final segment of Highway 610 is now open, connecting Maple Grove to I-94!

I worked to secure federal funding for this highway, which means shorter commutes, faster emergency routes, and more opportunity.

Using fencing to curb homelessness in the Twin Cities is an insult - MinnPost

A bike trail to transit center connection? Millions of dollars. Having it open? There are some things money can't buy. For that you'd need mayoral class.

The Declaration of Independence specifies 27 grievances with King George III and Britain.

Donald Trump and his regime have committed at least 20 of those same offenses highlighted in yellow.

Q: How did the White House decide it was appropriate for Jared Kushner to be working on matters that involve Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia -- 3 countries combined that have given him more than $2.5b

LEAVITT: It's frankly despicable that you're trying to suggest that it's inappropriate

A reckless driver rammed through a so-called protected bike lane. These barriers clearly aren’t built to withstand the speed and size of vehicles on our city streets.

Next session we should start talking about state run or subsidized Intercity buses.

You should be able to buy a ticket to go to St Cloud, Mankato, Duluth, Rochester at an affordable consistent price with multiple trips leaving per day.

“Secret police” are your words, not mine. Seems like you’ve been giving them a lot of thought.

Unlike NYPD, your agents don’t identify themselves & wear masks that cover their faces. Now they ignore judges’ rulings, too.

What law enforcement agents are supposed to uphold … is the rule of law.

It was actually worse than this sounds. Alkonis fell asleep/passed out behind the wheel with his wife and children in the car, woke up before crashing, and decided to keep driving. He then fell asleep/passed out again and killed two people.
This tweet still breaks my brain. He killed two people in a car due to negligence and was sentenced to three years in prison, a penalty completely in line (if not more lenient) than American law

~45% of US corn production is now used to make ethanol, mostly for mixing into gasoline.

That's ~13% of all US crop land already used for energy production.

Using some of the same land for solar panels would capture 50-100 times more energy per acre.
