What's up with the blue line? I noticed nb trains holding at Franklin and cedar

No tarriffs, no immigration regulations, no borders. There's only one human race and we should act like it
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Important question: is this the first bikeway roundabout in the US?
Final paving of the Kenilworth Trail and Midtown Greenway intersection—complete with bike trail roundabout!—is underway now.

Cannot wait for this to finally be completed.

Where are the restrooms? Minneapolis needs more answers - MinnPost
Businesses can't take on the entire burden. The city must invest in a network of free, accessible and well-maintained public restrooms.

People find it interesting that the Arthur M Anderson is still sailing but the truth is something like... half? of the boats on the Great Lakes today were around when the Fitz sank.

We lost. But we came closer to beating entrenched power than anyone has in this city in a while. We were up against basically unlimited money and the most racist, lying IE campaign I’ve seen in my time working Minneapolis politics. Here’s our story and the path forward. (Long 🧵)

These kinds of analyses are always missing 2 facts:
1. They don't even speculate on who the "right" guy should have been
2. They ignore the fact that Fateh did better than any challenger so far
this analysis is strange in that it doesnt answer the fundamental question about Minneapolis voters - if Frey's multiple lies and polarizing ways were truly against their values and they were tired of it, why did they not choose Davis? www.startribune.com/jacob-frey-r...
Roper: Jacob Frey can thank the far left for handing him another term
Frey was a vulnerable incumbent. But progressives banked on the wrong guy to beat him.

Quarterly service changes are up! Obviously the biggest change is the E line, replacing the 6 between Westgate and Southdale via France and providing a huge service boost and a modest speed increase. However, there's much more to talk about
9: frequency increased to half hourly Sundays

Winter Park Express schedule just dropped, basically the same as last year

If any of y'all ranked Frey, your mom's a ho
November 5, 2025 at 5:51 PM
I'm about to bite through my desk I ain't sleeping tonight man
Because Frey didn't get more than 50% of the first round votes, no winner was declared yet and won't be until tomorrow at the earliest.

I'll tone the rhetoric down a bit:
If Frey and Carter both win I'm moving to St Paul
The official "I'm moving to Canada" standard for the city election is if Elizabeth Shaffer wins in Ward 7. We can survive all other potential outcomes. I'm having Josh Martin verify the spreadsheets now.

Looks like Forney/Olsen/Frederick for Park Board at large? (Are these full RCV or just three best?)
Englehart, Garcia, Moran (most likely) take the competitive districts
November 5, 2025 at 3:35 AM
Only bad result so far is Cashman lost and Warren won
Stevenson wins, EHB/Brandt win BET, all other progressives hang on
