Starting a war without legal authority and abducting foreign leaders is a dangerous abuse of power. Congress needs to wake up before another generation of young Americans is sent to die in a fool's war over oil.

Not a single bike rack anywhere in sight, despite a huge surface parking lot. So once again, I have to resort to the St Paul special, this time locking directly to the gas line next to the downspout dripping all over. But apparently I'm supposed to be a sycophant and only say nice things.

Christmas Eve. Fresh snow.
Cargo trike.

I don’t bike in winter because I’m tough.

I bike because it's the most fun you can have.

I left fully in Jan 2025 — except the weekend of June 14th — and am never going back. When I left, I had close to 30,000 followers, so it wasn’t *easy*. But when people send me links to tweets and I’m back on Twitter for a minute, it’s so Nazi forward. I’m shocked anyone real is still there.
All electeds and state governments should get off Twitter

Subsidizing a platform that undermines civil society and democracy is not neutrality -- it’s complicity
This has always been a Bluesky-first campaign. But as of today, we will no longer be using Twitter. At all.

And I'm calling on other candidates to follow suit.

Saturdays are for sewers! Or… where else does my poop go? This week I spent a morning under 10th St., working with our @cityofsaintpaul.bsky.social Public Works crews to clean one of our old sanitary sewer tunnels. It was really rewarding work. And really tiring. Highlights:🧵 1/

For top paid Oakland city staff in 2024 you have to go 109 people deep before reaching someone who isn’t police or fire. That’s the City Administrator w a salary of $308k & total comp of $506k. They’re the only non police/fire staff staff w total comp >$500k.

There are so many elements in our culture where you have to cope with people who don't even understand their own prejudices. People hate cyclists and they haven't put any effort into thinking about why or how it makes them think or say very stupid shit.

I've made sure to request both Life After Cars from @thewaroncars.bsky.social and Killed by a Traffic Engineer by @wesmars.bsky.social in the past from @stpaulpublibrary.bsky.social

Was glad to see waitlists for both!
FUN FACT! Most libraries have a way for you to suggest a purchase.

This allows advocates like you to 'seed' your local book scene w impactful reads that help you be more knowledgeable AND removes a barrier to your community leaders reading them!

Here's the Hennepin County request page:

It's clear from the article that ICE is *miserable* here. They're freezing their asses off and being harassed everywhere they go. Property managers aren't allowing them access to rental properties and people know their rights and aren't letting them in.

KEEP IT UP.
