Me, watching as children's motrin magically lowers Littler Girl's fever from 104.x down to 100.x, easing her very obvious discomfort and allowing her to get the sleep she desperately needs:

"I don't think this is doing anything and maybe it's dangerous. Probably better for her to burn up?"
JD Vance calls ibuprofen "useless medication" and implies it's not "necessary, safe and effective."

Important to understand the Epstein stuff and the fascism and the corruption are, in a lot of ways, really all the same story from different angles: powerful men who can and do abuse vulnerable people around them because they can, and because systems of elite accountability catastrophically failed

it's funny how you can rightly be like "this is all according to their plan - fascist paramilitary secret police kidnapping americans, panopticon, destruction of the dollar, etc" but then out of nowhere you get a curveball like Tearing Down White House To Build The Fancy Boy Party Zone

all discourse aside, there is one machine with consciousness. it's printers. they are alive and conscious and they hate you and they'd take your arm clean off if you let them. never trust a printer.

the post office is a public service. it doesn’t need to make money. public transit doesn’t need to make money. the library doesn’t need to make money. some things exist for the public good and we desperately need lawmakers to stop thinking about them in terms of capitalism. these are not businesses.

There are lots of extremely rich people in like, Illinois who go on vacation in Destin every year and own a boat but they didn’t go to prep school so they think they’re “working class”
Two things confuse US class discourse: race and regionalism. Class signifiers in Missouri are very different from New Hampshire!

Funny how the US has basically the government of Iran now: Supreme Leader who rules by decree, priestly council with token opposition that decides whether the decisions are okay or not on arcane scriptural grounds, and completely ceremonial legislature

Some people think this is an exaggeration but I will say that if I were HHS Secretary and my goal were to kill as many children as possible, it would be difficult to distinguish the actions I would take from those that Kennedy has taken.

Democrats should introduce articles of impeachment for RFK jr
Even if it doesn’t work, which it probably won’t, democrats need to make clear that he’s not gonna get away with it
RFK Jr.‘s extreme anti-vax views — and his related conflicts of interest — were a huge problem during his confirmation process.

So he promised not to change the vaccine advisory panel.

Today, he fired every single expert on that panel. It's a public health disaster.
RFK Jr. ousts entire CDC vaccine advisory committee
Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has removed every member of a scientific committee that advises the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on how to use vaccines.

If I was a democratic comms person, I would get on TV and say simply: people are in the streets because the Trump administration lied. They said they were going to deport violent criminals to make America safer, but instead they're deporting ordinary working families, making America less safe.
