Hot take: I don't like it. Money is good, but are the replacements we could realistically go out and find as good or better than the players we're selling? Especially in an era when international players are rightly spooked about coming here?
Wow. Atencio, Leyva, Vargas and now possibly Minoungou. Is it just me or are the Sounders selling more players in the last year than all other years combined? Just a coincidence or start of a trend? Are we a ‘selling club’ now?
Georgi Minoungou drawing interest from top Swedish club
Hammarby is apparently keen to acquire the winger.

Simon is great at what he does. If you've been enjoying THE HUNGER AND THE DUSK, all that lettering is his--the fonts, the colors, the aesthetic. Hire him with confidence.
After 22 years as a letterer, I now only have enough regular lettering work to keep me busy for 2 days per week. So if you’re staffing a new project, please keep me in mind as your letterer! Or request me via your editor! Recent clients include DC, Marvel, BOOM, Dark Horse, 2000AD, etc.
Thank you 🙏🏻

I'm hardly the first person to note this, but it's enormously instructive that our President and his followers saw the message "THE ONLY THING MORE POWERFUL THAN HATE IS LOVE" and understood it, correctly, as an attack on them
What a moment.

One way concentration camps become zones where law doesn't apply is by neglecting policies & standards that would protect health & provide healthcare. You deny laws & norms & dehumanize your victim.

This is a great piece, both for laying out the stakes for art and history, and for making it clear that Donald Trump does not have the authority to destroy these piece and they can easily be saved if people pay attention, take action, and refuse to capitulate.
This is a wonderful piece of reportage and data-illustration by @jacobbogage.bsky.social in battered WaPo.

-Seeing our shrunken, barely-there print Sunday WaPo was poignant, artifact from "before."

Speaking of the Norwegian red hats everyone is knitting: knitters have raised over $300k for MN by buying the $5 pattern.

And symbols (like red hats) are a vital part of any resistance movement. They are used to unite members and serve as a visible display of opposition to the regime.
