Indiana Republicans have unveiled their proposal to re-gerrymander the congressional map & expand their current 7-2 majority to 9-0.
The Dem-held 1st would flip to Trump+12 & the 7th to Trump+19. All 7 GOP seats would be at least Trump+18.

one problem this poses for the admin is that hegseth is maybe the single least likely member of the cabinet to be willing to fall on his sword and go quietly, but this is why you don’t hire tv guys for important jobs
it sure seems like what happened is that the admin told hegseth and maybe rubio they could do whatever they wanted with the military, but do not intend to offer any cover, which is why, if you are enlisted, you need to pay close attention to whether your orders coming from command are actually legal
everyone is correctly noting that they’re throwing bradley under the bus, but they’re also throwing hegseth under it

Apparently Kash Patel had a diva meltdown, refusing to disembark a plane unless he had an FBI raid jacket with VELCRO patches.
Two FBI SWAT members took the patches off of their jackets and affixed them to a female special agent’s jacket for Kash to wear (the men’s jackets were too big for Kash).

While noodling on this on the train, i think that "just run indies" also irks me bc at its core it treats the red state Republican voter issue as something that is ultimately just aesthetics. And, while aesthetics are certainly playing a part, ppls beliefs are playing a far bigger one.
The toxicity of the democrat brand in red states is that it’s liberal to socialist in temperament. I assure you that red state voters who keep picking Republicans are not nascent pro labor voters who yearn for organized labor to air drop in to promote economic equality!
