My friend who works for the foreign ministry has a good head for policy but when it comes to political instincts, I keep remembering the time he predicted in 2023 that Biden would step aside for Gina Raimondo (the strongest candidate, of course). Very wonk-brained thinking

Just a note to ICE agents thinking of this: a shotgun doesn't provide the rate of fire necessary to give pleasure in this situation. Much better to do it with a semi-automatic in the privacy of your HQ with a couple of others you can trust. Get things right and you'll be firing off loads in no time
