Added a new misinformation label to @medsky.social today for misinformation regarding gender affirming care.

It blocks posts (as shown below)

There are also a number of other useful labelers to follow for targeted hate against LGBTQ+ people, such as @moderation.northsky.social.

I would have moved the car and left it running in the street. Sideways.
Tonight's bike lane obstruction at Summit and Hudson: An SUV with no driver and a running engine, which idled in the bike lane for so long that the SUV behind it had to reverse into the intersection to escape the bike lane.

Effective drainage systems are an underrated, important component of making truly walkable, human-oriented cities. It’s hard to convince people to live than non-driver lifestyle when nearly every rainfall includes ankle-deep puddles #urbanism+ #LA

Huge thanks to Fema for fixing an issue with this labeler. Gunna recommend it in case any other cyclists or bike / accessibility advocates follow me. You can use this one stand-alone or paired with @bikesky.social's labeler.
Hurray! Y'all get assign your own labels! @labeler.urbanism.plus

Let the world--well--our little part of the digital world know all about yourself! Three label limit to keep things tidy!

Thanks @derek.bike/@bikesky.social for writing the code that made this possible!

Introducing Medsky Topics! It’s a new account @topics.medsky.social that hosts topical @graze.social feeds related to issues important to public health!

There’s 20 to choose from. With the government shutdown and the potential impact to ACA subsidies, you should consider checking out the ACA feed!

why would i care about sharing the road when im a Superior™️ cyclist?
We don’t live in a small town. We don’t live in Holland. It’s stupid to think you could turn Rockville or Bethesda into a biking city. It’s never going to happen. But bikers don’t care because they don’t care about sharing the road.

Cycling UK is a transphobic organisation and I cannot in good conscience remain a member. I will be cancelling my Direct Debit shortly and returning my membership card.

When your policies exclude trans women, no women are safe.

Like many others, I am disappointed and angry about the decision by @cyclinguk.bsky.social to change the eligibility criteria for Women in Cycling 2025 to exclude trans women.

Trans women are women 🏳️‍⚧️

I have requested for my name and face to be removed.

Seriously y'all, if you want to learn how to make feeds like this – going beyond hashtags or simple keyword searches, curating with purpose (informational or otherwise) – reach out.

Us feed builders love doing these things, but our time is limited and we need others' interested in learning!

duh

How do we expect kids to learn in this environment?
