‘Nickname’ is not ‘nick’ + ‘name.’

It was originally ‘ekename.’

‘Eke’ was the Middle English word for “also” or “in addition.”

Since ‘ekename’ began with a vowel, people used ‘an’ before it.

Over time, 'an ekename' became 'a nickname.'

I love 3D printing, man.

You can just sculpt a Twin Peaks James, conjure him into the real world and nobody can stop you.

There is a Bond movie called Octopussy
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

If I got to make the next James Bond movie, Bond would be a depressed and struggling physics professor in Minnesota whose wife wants to divorce him. He would encounter increasingly stressful personal tragedies and moral conundrums while desperately reaching out to an absent God for answers.

Media has become too fucking lore-poisoned. Just have a new guy appear! Who cares! This is a series you watch to see a guy shoot people and be horny.

Did we really think that periodically it was the same guy who just looked completely different up till now?!

Part of the reason why Lake Superior is so massive and deep (its deepest point is 733 feet below sea level and is the lowest point in the continental US) is because it occupies an ancient rift valley. What is now North American almost split in half a billion years ago.
