mixed feelings on this: on the one hand, they introduced a ton of folks to life with an e-Bike and how awesome it can be. on the other hand, their product kinda sucks compared to their competition! some of the worse e-bikes I've had to work on.

NEW: Rad Power Bikes has told employees it will go out of business in January without new funding.

The company said in a staff email that it had a "very promising" option to stay alive, but whatever that was, it fell apart.

Since people are amped up to give to their neighbors I have a couple anecdotes to share. No judgement just little things you might not think of depending on your intended recipients. A lot of people donate old bagels but lots of folks we feed don't have the teeth to handle that....

I understand the sentiment, but this is misguided and harmful.
Canned and bagged food on a park bench. Beans and peanut butter have been knocked over, a bag of beans has been torn open by an animal and partially spilled on the ground. Canned, bagged, and boxed food and baking soda on a park bench. Some is on the ground, the rice has been torn open by an animal.

On September 19th, Reverend David Black, lead pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Chicago, was praying outside the ICE detention center in Broadview when a DHS agent shot him in the head with pepper balls. Pepper balls are never supposed to be fired at the head because they can seriously injure, or even kill. “We could hear them laughing as they were shooting us from the roof,” Black recalled. He is not the only member of the clergy ICE has assaulted.
