my buddy picked (the blue one) from a scrap metal pile and I thought "hey thats cool, I should make a copy!" but I'm bad at copying cause I keep doing "oh, I can just make that a bit better" and it bites me down the road. Its make of scrap bikes :]

It’s been a year of having using a flag to create a conversation instead confrontation.
Through effective non verbal communication I can clearly share with drivers what space is required for cycling safety.
This is the most significant thing I’ve ever done for my personal safety.

Repurposing a child’s kickstand and an ATV flag to create a visual reminder of what 3 feet is for drivers.
It’s hard to gauge distances at speed. This flexible and strong flag should provided much needed space to my family as we use our #CargoBike for travel.

My favorite trick is to tell someone who is gardening that their work looks great!

Windshields isolate, while bicycles connect. When you ride, you are a neighbor, not just traffic. It removes the friction that car culture creates.

This was only about two time-lapsed minutes of the Alex Pretti memorial ride in Minneapolis today. I'd guess there were at least 5x more people there than this, and probably significantly more than that. Absolutely mind blowing love and support showing up on bikes today.
