Beshear: Let me be clear. The president has both the funding and the authority to fund snap during a shutdown. In fact, every other president in every other shutdown has done so. People going hungry in this instance is a choice that this president has made.

Fascinating study. Note that this is 1 in 10 adults. Factor in children and the percentage of non-driving Americans is much higher. Cities and towns need to account for their mobility needs too.

I know that many Ann Arbor City Council members, including several former CMs who I often disagree with on local issues, were ardent supporters of Sen. Warren’s presidential campaign. She is, once again, on the right side policy-wise. Abundant housing is the answer.
