I love Quentin Tarantino's movies, they're a vital part of my career and my life, and every time he does a podcast or gives in an interview it's a sharp reminder of the genuine intellectual danger of spending 30 years of your life with everyone around you treating you like a genius at all times

Though it's obviously possible to *meet* someone "very close to this case", upon meeting them I'd like to hope I would not progress to feeling that I "know" them.
I hope that instead I'd quickly get as far away from that person as possible.

I've seen very disturbing horror movies, so I'm picturing secret black market organ harvesting labs filled w/ ppl of all ages kidnapped off the streets by masked men.
