By this standard which nobody actually adheres to Jews would be precluded from identifying as Zionist because of what Zionism means to every Palestinian on the planet. Is this standard reciprocal or do are there competing claims on the basis of standpoint which need to be independently interrogated?

Another way to put this might be, Democrats hinder themselves by trying to do things they believe will work instead of just doing the big thing. Even if that fails, it looks a lot better than where they usually land, which is *explaining why* they *couldn't* do something they never tried.

Again, Supreme Court enlargement, jurisdiction, stripping, term limit limits, and other reforms to rein in this anti-democratic gang of ideologues should be the absolute minimum starting position for Democrats going forward.
It is really, really hard to get your head around the raw hubris of the majority. They really will be destabilizing the operating structure of the entire U.S. government. Why? Because they believe they have a better idea about how the past century should've been done.
