Here an underage girl testifies that Epstein vaginally and anally raped her before beating her in fury because Trump had taken her virginity before he could.

Paul Krugman only reads blogs and that is why he, unlike everyone else who has been in punditry for decades, has never lost his mind
If you need me, tap me on the shoulder. I’ll be happily working all day listening to this on a loop.

Whether it’s Barack Obama, appearing in a tan suit or Donald Trump appearing 1700 times in Jeffrey Epstein‘s emails, both presidents made some highly controversial appearances.

I’m remembering every official, every lawyer, every investor, every service member who is visibly giddy over this kind of stupidity.

I know they can be entertained and/or distracted by jangling car keys in front of their face.

They also are anxiously awaiting updates on who the dish ran away with…
Even Republicans aren't into the "Department of War" rebranding. Only 42% approve, which is low in such a polarized environment.

Plus Democrats and Independents are solidly opposed.

Americans want a professional, not unhinged military.

Alan Dershowitz is one of those claiming Epstein was not a pedophile because he pleaded guilty to one count of having sex for money with a 17-year-and-10-month-old person. "That’s not a pedophile." See this important response from Julia Brown, the brave reporter who broke the news on this

All praise the Gaza peacemakers! They're:

-Dividing the strip into 2 zones
-Pushing Gazans into one, which will see airstrikes and raids
-doing reconstruction only in the other
-promising a foreign force made up of Europeans, who aren't willing to do it

You better be seen praising the peacemakers.
US military planning for divided Gaza with ‘green zone’ secured by international and Israeli troops
Exclusive: Almost all Palestinians have been displaced to ‘red zone’ where no reconstruction is planned

She did what she needed to do with McCarthy to get on the Oversight committee. And then she became aware of the Epstein files content. And she's probably also getting the actual health reports for Trump.

She hasn't attacked Vance yet, has she? I think she's angling for VP. And then will stab JD.

Immigration has currency in a way that did not. Francis needed time to consolidate power, and he dealt in Viganò’s case with stuff that meant nothing to those on the outside. Immigrants are Leo’s life’s work, and they will keep the church viable. It is a rare meeting of principle and salesmanship.
Sir, Rome doesn’t work that way. It took Viganò doing a million schismatic things before Pope Francis finally excommunicated him.

The bottom isn't going to fall out. But it's another finger on the scale. Biden lost because people felt poor and ignored and he seemed too old to do anything about it. Trump is as deep or deeper into that, and Epstein doesn't make people waver.
Do the files releasing, potentially more, make any difference at this point, sir? Or is it (unfortunately) at a point where anyone who was going to be swayed by it, is already aware?

The City of Los Angeles has 43,700 homeless people. Seven of them die on the streets every day.

Mobilizing the planning department to slow-walk new mixed income housing near the train stations that taxpayers spent billions of dollars building reflects perverse priorities at best.
After failing to stop a major state housing bill from becoming law, Los Angeles leaders are turning to plan B: Delaying Senate Bill 79's implementation and pushing for unspecified legislative changes next year. My dispatch for @politico.com Pro subscribers subscriber.politicopro.com/article/2025...

I said as much. Some cynics sneered but I think it's true. Politics is a business of using symbols to your advantage. Everyone knows the White House, and even if you have little or no patriotic or romantic attachment to it, you know it belongs to the Nation, not a person. And that cuts through.
Sir, I was wondering if I could get your thoughts on my theory that summarily demolishing the White House was a symbolic blow to the country and thus his single biggest miscalculation. I feel it set the stage for much of what has come since.

The elections last week proved that Trump's success in 2024 was best explained as a *dealignment* in politics, hastened by but not only due to inflation — but not a Trump *realignment*.
This week, polls showed POTUS slipping further w/ Gen Z and Latinos

The 2024 Trump "realignment" is over already
Claims of a conservative realignment of non-whites, the working class, and young voters have been highly exaggerated

whatever you want, it’s fine, you don’t have to hide it, just say “I am bribing the President with gold,” zero consequences.

For those of us older millenials, we lived through Bush going from an unstoppable political machine in 2002 that was routinely in the upper sixties and seventies of approval and like fifty positive net, to persona non grata, someone who basically disappeared from public life altogether
the scramble for GOP hopefuls to distance themselves from Trump as the ship goes down is going to be crazy and the most important thing to do is sink all the lifeboats

none of them are allowed to escape his legacy
