Our handsome, patient oaf of a cat Titus has passed on. He enjoyed finding heat sources, joining us in the bathroom, falling gracelessly off of things, and looking like he was dead until one day, he was. We will always remember you Mr. Titus.

ICE/CPB thugs tackled a nonverbal autistic man outside a Family Dollar in Chicago’s Little Village claiming he was “noncompliant.”

Witnesses begged them to stop. “Why they beating up this special boy?” one worker cried. “He comes in every day for a treat. He has the mind of a child.” 🤬🤬🤬

Such a great honor to be on @wbez.org’s Say More this morning talkin Cemeteries. Surreal to see these disembodied voices I’ve heard for so long in person. If for some reason you weren’t listening, go to their website and check it out! I am on 40 min in but the whole ep is fun

A fellow traveler who got in touch with me after my @21st.show segment shared this song about his Illinois adventures. Please connect to your loudest speakers and press play. If you are on transit or at the library, disconnect your headphones first.

The truth is I’ve been in Disney world all week. My deep apologies for leaving Illinois. Did you know the Spaceship Earth attraction was inspired by the work of SIU professor Buckminster Fuller, who patented geodesic domes and published the “Operating Manual for Spaceship Earth”
