Labour policy is being celebrated by Tommy Robinson.

That's it.

That's all you ever need to say to explain who Labour are.

According to the FT, Rachel Reeves wants to cap the cycle to work scheme. This is lunacy, and represents a curb on what is effectively the UK's only active travel incentive.

Not all delivery trucks are justifiable in cities. We can create jobs, boost sustainable transportation, and create safer streets with better infrastructure through cargo bike logistics.

The solutions, designs, and tools already exist. All we seem to lack is the political will to implement them.

Forced car dependency robs society of any chance at financial freedom. America doesn't have a "love obsession with cars", they simply have not been given a choice.

Large SUVs are a danger to pedestrians, cyclists & other drivers.

It's time to take action to reduce their presence in urban areas.

Folks have been telling me they’ve noticed I’ve gotten “a lot more political” on social media this year.

Of course I have.

The circumstances have gotten nightmarishly worse, and the consequences of inaction and staying silent infinitely more obvious.

Everyone needs to get “a lot more political.”

Sky News just had Kelvin Mackenzie on, former editor of The Sun, one of the people at the centre of probably the most disgraceful front page in newspaper history, complaining about BBC journalists not being objective and 'fake news'. Astonishing. ~AA

Fire at James St apparently so no trains across the river this morning. Thankfully the ferry is actually running this morning and it’s a beautiful- if crisp - day for it. And because it’s a commuter ferry, we don’t get subjected to THAT song 😂 #merseyferry #activetravel #bikesky #liverpool

I had my disagreements with the BBC under Tim Davie but he was a decent man doing a difficult job.

To see Trump's White House claiming credit for his downfall and attacking the BBC should worry us all.

When people ignorantly label "cyclists" as entitled for wanting equitable infrastructure, just remember, they're oppressing people with mobility challenges as well with that rhetoric.
Protected cycle tracks are not just for cyclists, they allow more freedom for those with mobility issues

Car brand BYD's new SUV ad pokes fun at people walking and cycling, comparing them to Horse & Carts.

It joins a long list of car ads that sell a false promise of convenience and aspiration while punching down at sustainable transport modes.

So I made it a bit more realistic...

Let me sum up the new "everything else seems old fashioned" campaign from BYD: Cars are cool everything else isn't. (breakthrough stuff here 🙄)

The only thing more old fashioned than riding a horse is positioning a car as the better way forward.

I agree with a pay per mile driving charge for EVs.
But a key fact that many are missing is that fuel duty has been frozen since 2010 and petrol is cheaper now than 2 decades ago.
It's about time conventional car drivers actually started paying a fair share too.

Ignore the howls around pay-per-mile, chancellor. We can’t afford not to tax electric cars
The issue of how motoring taxes should change as we decarbonise the economy has been dodged for too long. Car salesmen need to get real
