Anything above 500 billion should be taxed $2 on the $1. And I don’t want any of that, it’s not cash BS. TAX THE EVER LOVING POOP OUT OF THESE PEOPLE.

Not enough people are talking about this:

Even before Trump cut off SNAP funding, he and Republicans in Congress made the biggest cuts to food assistance in U.S. history.

So @raskin.house.gov has a deep background in constitutional law and i take this as saying what may are thinking… jury nullification. A group of peers took morality and conscience over plain law text to apply a social message.

Trump’s economy suuuuucks.
🚨 CNBC: "Announced corporate job cuts surging past 1 million so far this year, with 153,000 new layoffs just in October according to Challenger. That is the worst October since 2003."

The mental gymnastics you must perform to say this with a straight face.
Johnson: When we go into the midterms, we’re very bullish on the outcome. We have an extraordinary record to run on. The first nine months of this Congress and this administration, arguably the most productive of all time.

There is a wave of change coming.

One where bold leadership that follows working people not the billionaires isn’t the exception, it’s the expectation.

Let's discuss.

ah, perhaps instead of pumping millions into endless factional infighting Dem donors could invest in making local Dem organizations genuine civic spaces that can reach people during and between elections

WHOA. Via @decisiondeskhq.bsky.social, it looks like Democrats just flipped BOTH *statewide* Public Service Commissioner seats in Georgia.

That seems...significant.

Decision Desk has called both of Georgia's statewide races, for public service commissioner, for Democrats.

If confirmed, this would be a really huge win for Democrats:

It'd be their first statewide win in any non-federal race since 2006!

The Democratic establishment's ugly reaction to Zohran Mamdani reveals an unpleasant truth.

They would rather lose elections than change.

The addiction to rich donors and consultants is killing the party. But Mamdani shows a path out. An analysis.

That's the NYC we know and love. It has found expression in this movement. And it is rising up at the ballot box today.

one of the most insane thing about partisan politics is that Republicans are allowed to say "these four million American citizens shouldn't get the representation they are entitled because it would be politically inconvenient for us" and nobody bats an eye
Johnson: "If they had no filibuster, they would pack the SCOTUS. You'd go from 9 to 17 or however many liberals they could pack. You would make DC & Puerto Rico into states, which would give 4 additional Democrat senators & make us a permanent minority. You'd see massive restrictions of 2A rights"

One of my low-key favorite parts of the Mamdani campaign is that he walks around the city. People who love cities walk around their cities, but few political candidates do so.
