One of my biggest skill gaps as an artist is being able to think three-dimensionally. It means I am overly reliant on reference and can't extrapolate small changes from imagination.
So I'm doing exercises like this- where I draw an outfit from ref and then draw again from imagination at a new angle

My most woke comics opinion is that you don’t need to be “good” at drawing in any capacity to make them, as long as the reader understands what they’re seeing the way you *want* them to understand it, then you are successfully cartooning

So much of what's happening all boils down to individuals thinking only about them and not thinking the leopard will eat THEIR face. I've always tried to be someone who cares for all...but I think the leopard needs to eat their faces. The only teacher with patience left for these people, is reality.

Hollywood is filled with examples of those that fail upwards, but I do think this instance is so incredible that it should be one of the first couple examples to illustrate the point.
