MacCALLUM: You have about 100,000 dying from drug overdoses, most of those drugs from from Venezuela and other places

CROW: That's actually not true. The majority of the deaths by drugs in America are the result of meth and fentanyl. Almost none of that comes from Venezuela

If the biggest donor to the DCCC/DNC ran a website where you could use AI to take women's clothes off I feel like there'd be a demand for Dems to give the money back.

Between Christmas & today, Trump shared images of & links to posts from QAnon influencer "The SCIF" at least 8 times, all to push false election fraud claims.

Additionally, Trump shared an image from another QAnon figure to connect The SCIF's election fraud claims to Trump's actions in Venezuela.

The great @jamellebouie.net sets an example for the tone we need to take with people who tricked themselves into believing Donald Trump was a lesser evil.

I keep thinking about how the only thing preventing Trump from taking over Greenland in the coming days is whether or not he simply decides to do so.

Maybe I'm just catastrophizing.

One major complication stemming from this seemingly enormous admission from Trump is that he lies constantly.
Reporter: Did you speak with the oil companies before the operation? Did you tip them off?

Trump: Before and after. They want to go in and they’re going to do a great job.

One dynamic that you see a lot is a chain of circular reasoning designed to reinforce an argument: "person Y argues X. X is an outgroup belief therefore person Y is in the outgroup. Why is it an outgroup belief? Well, see, outgroup members like Y espouse it"
I think there's two basic dynamics underpinning shitty mob behavior online, and the Sky Marchini/Will Stancil stuff is an unfortunate example of each. The first is a feeding frenzy - when a post is over-interpreted or just straightforwardly misinterpreted, and especially when it escapes context.

I dunno man, it seems like if we killed 32 Cuban military officers, we probably kind of declared war on Cuba right?
