Epstein dying in federal custody while Trump was president is something that probably doesn't sound true to a lot of people.
Like if you polled a bunch of randos on who was president when that happened, I think a lot would say Biden and would add, unprompted, that Hillary ordered a hit on him.

Even after everything that's happened recently, I feel like some who've been in DC a long time are a bit slow on picking up on how that whole notion of DOJ being even partly independent of the White House is a dead letter.
