Something interesting we're seeing in Massachusetts is that ICE is using more innocuous vehicles to blend in, likely in response to watch efforts. For example, I've seen a Dodge Caravan and Hyundai Sonata recently. The caveat is that Massachusetts is not seeing as much of a militarized presence.
If you or a friend or family have a dark SUV, especially with tinted windows, I'm gonna need you to throw on a few magnets, bumper stickers, sparkles, car eyelashes, something.
Because the bad guys are driving those cars right now and I need to not get viscerally angry every time I see an SUV.

When I was a kid I always thought it was kind of neat that my Dad's birthday was Christmas Day and my mom's was Epiphany (we're Italian so we'd hear stories about and sometimes get gifts from Befana). Now I'm just kind of sad my mom has to share this day with this shitty history. She's too cool.

I actually figured out why this is the best kind of falling asleep. Because all other times that I am falling asleep I am either actively trying to fall asleep or trying not to fall asleep. But couch napping, you just let the sleep overcome you. It's so calming.

I actually figured out why this is the best kind of falling asleep. Because all other times that I am falling asleep I am either actively trying to fall asleep or trying not to fall asleep. But couch napping, you just let the sleep overcome you. It's so calming.

Someone cranked the zoned heat near my office up to 78 and I have a small office that is needlessly in possession of its own heating vent and like 8 things fell off my walls during break. Literally the contact strips melted off the wall. It was hot yoga hot in here. The areca palm is thriving.

Got the kid out the door and to the bus stop on time. Checked my email. About to morning journal and workout. So far, so good. I even laid out the whole week's clothes last night and the kid packed her own lunch. Don't know if we can keep this up, put first day we're on it despite no sleep.
