One of my colleagues went to a seminar at Berkeley and when someone asked a question Derrida brushed it off saying ‘what you ask may be important but it is not interesting’.
This path leads to chaos.

Ah. Turns out, medicines, medicine bottles, and pill boxes are all VERY INTERESTING for birds!

He was removed to his cage, where he sulked while I finished the week’s pill sorting. Unjust! Unfair!

I have a little bit of experience with autism bicycles and I'd say that the saddle on that bike looks particularly runctitional. I'd venture you might end up with a medical frymnblal if you use it for very long, maybe even a case of drop-out totalbottl.
Hey @nature.com, have you got an explanation for how the hell THIS happened? & especially why you accepted a paper with such a bizarre piece of genAI slop in it?!
& more to the point, why we should take you seriously at all going forward?

I cooked taco chicken this evening (Nagi M’s recipe - quick, and doable from ingredients to hand in the parental abode), and a corn salsa.

Or rather, two corn salsas - I reserved some for myself and used a canned black bean and corn mix instead of just corn.

This has given rise to GREAT HILARITY.

… I mean it’s up for debate who’s showing the most uncharacteristic maturity here, but good news is good news.
BREAKING: Labor has secured the passage of its new environmental laws with the support of The Greens.
Albanese says the Liberals inc. Sussan Ley refused to meet him.
PM “I must say that the Greens showed maturity.”
Great result. ✅ #auspol

TL;DR for those saying the recent changes to Medicare rebates have no effect: this clinic has _never_ offered full bulk billing for all clients. But now they do - with no loss of service quality as far as my family have noticed.
Absolutely staggering, but good, news:

The GP practice at home has gone fully bulk-billing since the changes to Medicare rebates.

Memo to self: in event of further abdominal surgery, wear knickers.

Hmm. I think the fact that on day 6 after surgery I can move around fine, and sitting upright is getting easier, but waistbands are discomfiting enough that I seriously considered raiding mum’s wardrobe for a dress is… probably not how this is supposed to go.

It's axiomatic! You have to hold them by the head!

In pre-modern England, the expression, "Holding an eel by the tail" meant that you were doing something the wrong way. Like...did you just buy a cyber truck so that you could look cool and pick up women? You, sir, are holding an eel by the tail.
If you ever wonder why people say "slippery as an eel" I can confirm that one time we had to hold an eel for a vet to do a blood draw and that eel ended up on the floor 47 times out of 48 attempts
