Reminds me of Flying Lotus at The Orange Peel in Asheville NC in 2014, repeatedly asking the sound engineer for "more bass in the stage monitors please, I can't hear what I'm doing up here" several times until "aw shit, we blew the monitors"
Still killed it, tho.

Daughters (opening for Dillinger Escape Plan, circa 2002) blew out the entire sound system (or breaker?) in the first 5 seconds of their set. They had to replace a fuse to get the show going again. Took probably 20 minutes of waiting in a jam packed and sweltering little community center
