I know it's easier to sell longer running manga in bulk but I can't STAND 3-1 releases. 2-1 is much easier to read than having these mini phone books that limit how casually you can pick up and read something.

How come there hasn't been a reprint of Tezuka's Phoenix manga lately? If it's stuck under Viz's evil thumb, then that sucks. Seems like an obvious Vertical release at some point?

Gotta wait till October for the final volume of Vinland Saga to be released. It's been such a fun ride. Hope the anime finishes the story too.

Seeing people hate All You Need is Kill because it wasn't 100% faithful to the source material or they don't like the character designs...
I have zero emotional connection to it so I guess I was able to enjoy it more?

Studio 4 degrees Celsius is always a visual treat. All You Need is Kill was a lot of fun. Definitely shelf worthy when we get the evetual Blu-ray from GKIDS

Seeing the list of Discotek titles added to the MediaOCD store and relieved that I have literally all of them. There's maybe 2-3 I want that are definitely OOP that I hope I can get at Anime Boston

If you buy Discotek stuff on the reg like me, the loyalty points offset the extra cost and mirror the discount you'd normally get at the CR store. Obviously not everyone buys Blu-rays every month, but if you do, it's worth it. You also get releases shipped early before street dates.
All of this came out of literally nowhere, & we were just as surprised as everyone else to learn what’s going on.
Our storefront will hopefully be a new, much less unstable home for our favorite titles and yours.
