Realized that the song London Calling gives a pretty good explanation of the hearsay rule:

Once I was driving SB on College south of Kessler, and a group of motorcycles started passing me on the right, before reaching the cars parked in the far right lane. One biker cut it too close, and I saw him plow into a parked van. In my rear view, I saw his bike fly down the sidewalk without him
The EB/WB 46th St. lanes and signalling are a nightmare. And people go 45-50 MPH up College into the chicane. Can't remember the last time I saw anyone pulled over for speeding on College. 2015?

Once I was driving SB on College south of Kessler, and a group of motorcycles started passing me on the right, before reaching the cars parked in the far right lane. One biker cut it too close, and I saw him plow into a parked van. In my rear view, I saw his bike fly down the sidewalk without him

The Phantom Menace opening night was up there, but A Serious Man might be it. Some dude in my row killed a bottle of white wine, got a second bottle and started drinking it, but threw up into the ice bucket and bounced. All before the previews ended.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?
Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.
