Abysmal messaging. First, politicians address sports-related issues all the time. Second, trans people in sports has *already been handled* by leagues and communities. Every major sports body has criteria for trans athletes! Most communities do not give a shit. The problem is bigots ignoring that.

Of all the awful stuff in this reprehensible bill, the fact that your children stop being considered dependents at SEVEN may be the most horrifying detail.
The Ag Committee's part of the Reconciliation Bill raises the SNAP work requirement age for able-bodied adults without dependents from 54 to 64. It also changes the definition of "dependent child" from under 18 years to under 7 years old to determine "Able-bodied adult without dependents."

I had a conservative bent in ~2016, and it was spurred on by me watching videos about atheism, then being recommended feminist cringe videos. I started agreeing with right wingers because they told me leftists were trying to dismantle things I like or identify w/, like humor and being a white guy.
6. That approach not only won't work, but will make the problem a lot worse. You can't engineer or micromanage creators and storytellers.
They just need to be resourced to do what they're already doing. And, a pipeline needs to be invested in so there are places for them to grow into.
