The popular idea is that removing a president to replace him with a non-criminal president from his party, and usually elected on his ticket, is a coup.

Given how the members of the admin have been acting thus far, Dem house leadership better be seriously considering how they will go about holding senior appointees in the Capitol basement.
I’ve seen no serious engagement from senior Dems about what, exactly, they plan to do in terms of reasserting congressional power, as in identifying the available tools and thinking seriously about ways to use them to dig us out of the current state of total constitutional collapse.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act does not authorize withholding for reasons other than those specified in the Act itself. This is clear from the fact that the Act specifies exceptions that similar to, but narrower than, existing general exceptions (like the law enforcement investigation exception)

TBH I think that’s fantastic.
I wasn't initially sure how much credence to give @asharangappa.bsky.social's theory that this is driven by Miller, considering it's clear that even with a war with Venezuela that only lets you deport Venezuelans, and non-Venezuelans can challenge on that basis.
But I think she may be right.
