I don't know what even the point of arguing with these people is anymore, but the idea that "the crime gene" had been weeded out by 19th-20th century Europe is something you have to be a genuine imbecile to believe.

Since February, according to my latest analysis, almost 600,000 Black women have been economically sidelined. The November 20, 2025, Jobs Report makes clear this isn’t a blip. It’s a structural crisis. That is not a recovery. It is a redistribution of opportunity.

It’s more of a Graeco-Roman “martial homoromantic bisexuality”. Women are for producing heirs, men are for actual love and companionship.

the rich and powerful being slightly ashamed about all of it is probably a (societally non-specific) load bearing requirement for political stability

People really don't get the emphasis people all around place on taking the "correct" path to office.

Ive had friends who ran for office with the local establishment backing them and they get so mad at the existence of candidates without that backing.

a lot of people are interpreting this as “wow elite liberals really hate the left” and while thats true, what’s mainly going on here is that elite liberals hate anyone who is young and did not complete the cursus honorum of local politics

The demonization of feminism has been so successful that you can say something as anodyne as “I think women are oppressed as women, and that gender is a hierarchy” and people will come at you like, “Wow. I didn’t know you were a racist.”
I don't know who needs to hear this but if your worldview is stereotyping men based on statistics you have just created a permission structure to do the same thing to black men.

I'm a longtime fan of @cnliberalism.org and I even get this was probably was the intent. But it was still outrageously offensive and ill-phrased, it's shockingly bad. It merits disavowal and apology and taking away this person's access to the account, not messing around with shrugging it off.

Disturbingly reminds me of what happened to the Libertarian Party and how it started, randos being allowed to run the state and local twitter accounts and post increasingly insane and awful stuff, while the national org refused to stamp it out. Defending or equivocating on it is... a very bad call.

Reminds me of a god I knew who used to do "baby art" where he "got inside the mindset of a baby".

Everyone knew it was because he couldn't actually draw or put effort into anything.

Fundamentally there's this weird way that people conflate the actual thing you're measuring with the thing you're trying to measure when it comes to exams. The reason that accommodations exist is because time pressure during exams is not reflective of the actual thing you're trying to measure
A lot of education discourse is at root an inability to decide whether the purpose of our education system is to 1) teach material and measure learning 2) reward students who work hard 3) separate the smart kids (destined for smart guy jobs) from the dumb kids (destined to serve the smart guys)

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

My big fear all along has been not that Trump consolidates power, but that he breaks more shit than the Dems can fix in one cycle and people get mad and vote for what man-shaped scum the GOP fishes out of the bowels of hell next.
the chances of a permanent fascist reich seem significantly diminished from where they were in january, though.

I think Boomers are the age demo the GOP stands to lose the most ground with if (when) Republicans goes full groyper. A shift to the left from normie Boomers could absolutely ruin the GOP’s geographic advantage.
