Sing God a simple song, lauda laude
Make it up as you go along, lauda laude
Sing like you like to sing
God loves all simple things
For God is the simplest of all
Pinned
When I am laid, am laid in earth,
May my wrongs create
No trouble, no trouble in thy breast;
Remember me, remember me, but ah! forget my fate.
Remember me, but ah! forget my fate.
Soon I am receiving a functioning e-reader that has integrated Libby reading and audio, with big dreams of replacing any time I might have spent on vertical video feeds on reading books and highlighting and making little notes in my notebooks.

My whole life, advocating war has been fed to me as “the adult position,” akin to drinking your coffee black or reading the business section of the newspaper. Let’s be very clear — war is the childish nonsense of impulsive destructive idiots playing baby-brained video games with real human lives.

Made a bone broth soup from one of those quarts of bone broth from the store and various vegetables and aromatics, and drank the whole thing today. 50% of the kids are down with a GI illness today and I gotta be ready when it inevitably hits me. 🫡

Call yourself a "Thomist" again motherfucker. Tell me more about how "natural law" means international lawlessness. Say that "nations have a right to secure their borders" again. Imply that Carl Schmitt is a faithful Catholic philosopher. Make my day.

If your position is that regime change should be forced on countries where the president does not respect democratic norms and regularly kidnaps opponents using an officially sanctioned paramiliatary, have I got news for you about your position on the United States

Just woke up even angrier. Impeach, convict, remove. Draft articles now. Either we have a representative government or we don’t. Do not shut up about this until there’s a vote.

2025 was a top 5 hardest year of my life. I'm still in survival mode trying to figure things out in our new (old) town. But the changes we made have set us up really well for the future and we've been carried through every hardship by our wonderful friends and family.

Happy new year, friends. 💜

Can i take 2026 off as a mental health year? I think I need to spend it sleeping and puttering around the house and staring at forests and the ocean and such
