In response to bigots claiming Mamdani is going to implement Sharia Law over all of New York City, someone tried to clarify that Mamdani is actually planning to implement Shawarma Law, but it turns out even that was a misunderstanding: Mamdani is determined to implement Harissa Law.
Mamdani is gonna implement Shamwow law. You wont believe how much liquid it can pick up.
Mamdani is going to implement Shams Charania law. Basketball coverage will never be the same.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

People are dunking on the typo and pointing out it's bullshit (essentially none of these people will leave in protest of Mamdani's election) but it's also just tremendously ignorant (and American-exceptionalist) to say a million displaced people could be even close to the largest exodus in history.

This is an incredible thread, featuring threats that the US government will seek personal revenge on family members of EU negotiators for holding to their government's position during talks.

As someone who's not particularly rooting for or against either side - best of luck to either team and its fans, nothing against them, I'm just not very invested - I was rooting for Extra Innings. That was fun to watch, there were good jokes.

As I understand it in Cricket, the British version of Baseball, play is periodically stopped so everyone can participate in a garden party involving cakes and, I assume, tea. Since the Toronto Blue Jays are part of His Majesty's Commonwealth, have they considered doing that after the next inning?

Recently came across Lisa Taylor's amazing work on coloration in jumping spiders, including using eyeliner to give them teenytiny makeovers to see whether these colors helped them attract mates/avoid sexual cannibalism. Sometimes in science, there aren't standard tools for the thing you want to do🧪

If there wasn't enough space in the comic section that syndicated it, the top row could be removed and the rest of the comic would still make sense without it.
