Now that they're so big on continuity I want to see them figure out how to bring the second Casino Royale back into the fold.

One of the things at that link is an anthology of Cahiers du Cinema, including a 1955 review of Rear Window - but not by Truffaut.

The list of books he pretends he read and Blinkist can help you pretend you've read, is up to 11. It's VERY funny.
* two "Elon is great" books
* one by a noted sex pest
* one by a noted racist
* two very old classics for respectability
* three AI thumbsuckers
* two unobjectionable pop-science books

I assume you mean in the Senate, and my rejoinder to you is in the image below.

Yeah, sure, a third party with 20 Senators would be an incredibly bloc with its hand on the balance of power. But imagine if that third party had 70 Senators! Or Eleventy!

There's no path to the situation you envision.

The list is now up to eleven and it's VERY funny.
* two "Elon is great" books
* one book by a noted sex pest
* one book by a noted racist
* two very old classics he's DEFINITELY not read
* three AI thumbsuckers
* one anti-science screed

and one book by Sean Carroll that I assume is probably good

I wasn't familiar with it, but Google was there to help.

As was foretold in prophecy.

It's incredible how much of a non-story this is. You get five whole sentences in, and what the fuck are we doing here?

A corporate messaging account follows thousands of accounts, some of them are follow-farming pornbots. Call in the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice.

I can offer you this for next time.

Not New Jersey then?

I don't know about the Bodegas of New York but in mini marts elsewhere in the country you can often buy the Methadone of fireworks.

The team.

The only name I recognize is Lina Khan, but she's an obvious superstar.

So FIFA has suddenly announced they're giving someone a Peace Prize in Washington DC on December 5. What an interesting place and time to do that.

Pat Buchanan says build a wall around the whole US to protect against devastating seaborne attacks and you call him a loon but it nearly worked when L. Taylor recommended it in Pacific Rim.

I think I'm being attacked here. I'm not really sure.

I do think it's crappy that it's possible to quote-post someone and not have that count as "mentioning" them for the purposes of who's allowed to reply.

They're going to give this guy a hang glider.

I'm pretty sure this is the first one of these I made, a couple of years ago, and it matches the old "Report This Post" dialog, from back before you had to select a moderation service when reporting a post. So It actually makes me feel old just to post it!

This has been fun (and I'm guilty for feding the troll too) but at this point I recommend blocking @hopper3011.bsky.social and moving on.
