Out today: Texas Democrats have been attempting the inverse maneuver for a generation: trying to win elections without taking into account the eroded civic foundations of the state.

Zohran Mamdani's victory points at another way forward.

Conservative bewildered by the idea of people believing in a cause.
James O’Keefe responds to a comment

“Figured they (ICE protesters) were being paid…”

O’Keefe:

“No, it's more terrifying than that. It's not transactional.

They actually believe in their cause.

That truth is going to be hard for most people to understand or accept.”

I hope all the AI boosters understand that they’re training their kids that only chumps do things the hard way—by working diligently and going through the discomfort and hassle of learning and acquiring skills.

And also teaching them that a 30% error rate is good enough.

May his retirement be very, very long and may he never sleep more than an hour of it. May he wake up sweating to find his only company is the silence of vengeful ghosts.

Also may a Minnesota tick give him a red meat allergy, because he seems like the type who would absolutely melt down.

Right now normie places are spitting mad about the murder. Miller is a viscerally unpleasant person who says unhinged shit on national television regularly. Seems like a campaign to flood social media with reels of his worst shit edited together would be handy, to pick one idea that occurs to me
if bovino is out and conservatives are turning on noem then there is a real opportunity to demand that miller resign too.

Strong agree but also I am luxuriating in how upset the bambini bovini is this fine evening, he must be just SQUEAKIN mad
The Bovino demotion is seriously welcome news, but please keep up your calls to your Senators.

DO NOT let any of them point at his demotion as a sign of reform/justification to go ahead w/ supporting DHS.

Reminder that, as of the latest reports, Liam Ramos is still in prison in Texas - now for 5 days.

His parents are legal asylum seekers with no criminal record.

This right here is why we can never let up until detentions and removals are stopped. When someone is got, they are spirited away as quickly as possible with no notice or documentation. We have little to no visibility into what is occurring in the camps. We know we cannot believe DHS.
NEW: A Texas county medical examiner found that Geraldo Lunas Campos was choked to death by a guard while he was held in ICE custody earlier this month.

Geraldo is the sixth person to die in ICE detention this year.
