It’s difficult to underestimate the extra burden that this is placing on our public libraries. For example, on a daily basis library workers are now filling the in-person/human service gap that billion euro banking institutions have abdicated from to maximise their profit margins.
"Essential services are now digital by default, leaving many older people feeling locked out of their own lives."

As more of our lives move online by default, digital ageism has quietly become one of the last unchallenged prejudices, writes Fiona Daly.

Opinion: We’ve grown far too comfortable excluding older people from the digital world

It’s not talked about much, but Lars von Trier’s Kingdom: Exodus was a great and well liked follow up to his 90s miniseries. It’s kind of the Danish Twin Peaks: The Return
Besides twin peaks what was the last well received revival/reboot

I was looking into what Fox’s programming is like these days and in case you ever wondered ‘do they wish it was still the nineties’ one of their upcoming TV dramas next year is a reboot of Baywatch

Generally there’s a lot of hatred for whatever is new. I am old enough to remember the vitriolic contempt for Voyager and Enterprise, and the hatedoms for both shows are no longer what they once were. I think if Paramount does make a new Trek movie the Kelvin films will now be old ones. Then, well
Legitimately do not get the sheer hatred for the Kelvin movies within the Star Trek fandom, even the Star Wars fandom was able to move past the prequels but Star Trek's is just filled with some old farts.

Alright to wade into this the problem with the trade war aspect of the Phantom Menace is it is never exactly clear what is going on. The taxation of trade routes are in dispute which leads the Trade Federation to blockade and occupy Naboo. Is the Naboo route in dispute? Is that a major trade market?

Shea Whigham is a good Roscoe Conkling, too. Real classic Shea Whigham in a period drama kind of thing cooking there
Why Death by Lightning is essential viewing: (1) the history is solid and accurate; (2) James A Garfield is a leader who deserves to be remembered; (3) the acting is consistently good to superior (especially Shannon, Macfadyen, Offerman and Witford); (4) very good presentation of the corrupt

I'm still being asked about it, so here goes:
I'm referring to mobile games by Fountainhead Entertainment/id Mobile between 2005 and 2010. All simple, but fun Dungeon Crawler-style games:
- Doom RPG
- Orcs & Elves
- Orcs & Elves II
- Wolfenstein RPG
- Doom II RPG
Seriously, there need to be more of these Dungeon Crawler-lite games than the five titles John Carmack produced.

Every primary there are a few DeSantises, usually governors who have been eyed by national media for years as likely serious Presidential candidates, who then immediately pratfall in the actual primary process. You never can tell
Something I try to force myself to remember is what the world looked like a year into Obama 2 and what the “smart picks” were for the 2016 GOP nomination. I think it’s fair to say most of us were a bit off in our guesses. Trying to have a degree of humility.
I too am a Pritzker fan. But we’ll see how it all pans out.
