The blue bunny hat continues to be the most potent symbol of the regime’s cruelty. Let’s see it everywhere.
The Trump regime will never forgive or stop trying to punish people for the cruelties it has already committed against them.

My suggestion is that the NY Times profile politicians who are not just thinking about kids detained by ICE, but actually doing something about it, rather than enabling it.

Swear to god, ICE could just announce they're leaving a city but not leave and the media will just stop covering that city completely even though ICE never left.

It's what ICE and the media did with LA and they're doing it with Minneapolis too

Signs of a democracy in deep decline
We are seeing the convergence of all of these tactics across media, and the absolute purge at the @washingtonpost.com of some 300 staff and entire news divisions at one of this nation’s greatest newspapers while an open ideologue has been handed CBS’s reins are signs of a democracy in deep decline.

Folks, American politics is not sports. This is a silly analogy that doesn't work. The Republicans actually control every branch of government & will until Jan 2027 & likely the Senate until 2029. Also, "Democrats win every future election forever" is not a solution to the authoritarian problem.

Q: Pope Leo cited Matthew 25:35 to critique Donald Trump's mass deportation agenda. How would you respond to Pope Leo in scripture?

MIKE JOHNSON: Sovereign borders are biblical and right and just. It's not because we hate the people on the outside. It's because we love the people on the inside.

Watching your government ramp up a gulag is not allowed.
If you are in the world and you are at risk of witnessing the disappearane of your neighbors, just remember, they'll all be fine in the end. Work means freedom, eventually.
happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.

It seems increasingly clear the rampant noncompliance with court habeas orders happening in immigration cases now is not a problem of attorney ethics. It’s a symptom of structural, institutional collapse at the department of justice.
According to FOX 9, a Minneapolis federal judge demanded to know why DOJ is missing deadlines & AUSA Julie Le said, "The system sucks, this job sucks" & asked to be held in contempt so she could sleep.

PACER shows she got assigned to defend the govt in 88+ cases since Operation Metro Surge started.

Again, this is FALSE. Administrative warrants are NOT signed by an immigration judge (or any judge at all). They are generated and signed by ICE officers themselves with no external oversight whatsoever.

Here is a blank sample warrant. Note who signs off on it; an "immigration officer."

This is absolutely insane: DHS claims the right to subpoena your emails and to send investigators to your house. In this case, because a retiree sent the mildest possible criticism to a prosecutor. No judges involved.

I love when the members of Congress - both Dems and Republicans - about things like whether ICE should have to use judicial warrants or be banned from deporting citizens like they're new.

These things are already the law! ICE just isn't following the law.
Rep. Mark Harris: "Some of these things are nonstarters. Having judicial warrants? To me, hat's a nonstarter. Being able to make off their mask, putting them at risk? That's a nonstarter. I would say anything that's going to hamstring the work of ICE, that's just not going to go anywhere."

How did they redact abusers but not the victims? And they expect us to believe 40 nude photos went unnoticed?

That’s exactly why people think the DOJ did this on purpose, to shame these women for coming forward.
