πŸ—£οΈ ICE Out For Good

Join us in the streets this weekend
We’re mobilizing across the country this weekend to honor Renee Nicole Good, demand accountability for ICE’s killing of Renee, and make visible the human cost of ICE’s terror: docs.google.com/document/d/1...
I was assured by Haley Stevens that we should be heartened by the presence of female ICE officers
Two female ICE agents popped the hood of their car and knocked on the door of a mechanic born in Mexico. He went out to help.

β€œA bunch of agents jump out and tackle him, essentially restraining him, and take him away...His six kids are now without their father." www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...
ICE drawdown? Indications point to steady enforcement activity outside the Twin Cities
Some people who observe ICE activity are skeptical about a large scale drawdown of agents in the state. There are indications that activity has decreased in the Twin Cities, but has continued outside ...

MAJOR: Twin Cities Tenants joins five labor unions, together repping 25,900 members, to launch a rent strike drive, vowing to withhold rent March 1 if @governorwalz.mn.gov fails to deliver an eviction moratorium and rent relief. If launched, this would be the largest US rent strike in 100+ years.

In this moment, we need leaders who will stand up to our wannabe, Donald Trump, not vote alongside him.

No one knows that better than @indivisible.org and the @mnindivisible.bsky.social. That's why I'm so proud to have earned their endorsement.

I'm honored to be endorsed by Indivisible National.

Their No Kings Rallies have brought millions of people together to stand up to authoritarianism.

They understand exactly what kind of leadership & organizing this moment demands. I'm humbled they've put their faith in my leadership in the Senate.
In Minnesota, Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan is running for Senate with a record of delivering transformational progress for families and the opportunity to make history as the first Indigenous woman elected to the Senate. We're proud to endorse Peggy because we know she's up for the fight against fascism.

In GA-13, Dr. Jasmine Clark has rooted her campaign in accountability, truth, and a commitment to protecting democracy, healthcare, and public education. We're proud to endorse Dr. Clark because her proven leadership is what we need to beat back authoritarianism and deliver for working families.

I get this, but here's where I'm at:

Trump & Vance are the worst of us. America is bigger than them, and they win if we let them define us.
Team USA is the best of us. It's filled with Americans MAGA hatesβ€”first-generation + immigrants, LGBTQ+ athletes, people of colorβ€”& I'm gonna root for them.
I really really want these athletes to have a great experience, be competitive and perhaps win a gold medal, but, honestly, the thought of hearing "USA!USA!USA!" during their games kinda makes me cringe. If we were any other country the IOC would ask us to march under the olympic flag.

it must be annoying to be a 90 year old Republican congressman and have to pretend like you know what's going on anymore. you got into politics to pass laws giving out tax breaks for every horse you own but your groyper staffers are like "you need to condemn a new YA novel about bottom surgery"

β€œFuckin bitch” really drove it home, and activated an even deeper level of rage. But you see it in the behavior of all these ICE and CBP chuds - to a man they are β€œthat type of guy” living out a state-sponsored power fantasy. Getting their rocks off by tossing smoke grenades at preschools.

this is a Minnesotan thing, but it’s also a gender thing. Lots of women in MN clock ICE as just the most heavily armed version of β€œthat type of guy” they’ve had to deal with their whole lives. And they’re not tolerating it! So many badass women and femme folk on the front lines for that reason.
β€œI feel like our whole lives as Minnesotans β€” I’m not sure if America feels this way β€” but it’s always kind of like, β€˜Don’t even start that kind of thing because you have to live around these people,’” Michele said. β€œI feel that’s gone in me personally β€” I don’t even care if I ruffle feathers.”

This cannot be accepted. This is a bullshit move to try and keep the status of the occupation basically unchanged but try and play it off as a compromise
With the immediate removal of 700 federal agents from Minnesota, border czar Tom Homan put the total number of agents remaining in the state at approximately 2,000.

That’s still a dramatic increase from the normal immigration and enforcement staffing in Minnesota of around 150 agents.

The party then totally collapsed, many of it's prominent members in prison, and their funding dried up. They were successfully marginalized.

Just thinking about this for no particular reason.

when i was in Greece in 2013, there had recently been a murder of an anti-fascist artist. Everyone knew the neo-nazi Golden Dawn party was behind it. But they actually proved culpability, and ruled the party was a criminal conspiracy and arrested the members of parliament associated with it.
