Compare/contrast with HRC saying deplorables
How are these fits of presidential incontinence never covered as their own news events in NYT? Hours of sick hateful bile from the curdled joyless leader of the Christian nationalists sitting in the ruins of the tinsel trimmed White House he’s demolishing — seems like a story to me.

Billionaires are considering cutting or reducing their ties to California by the end of the year because of a proposed ballot measure that could tax the state’s wealthiest residents.
A Wealth Tax Floated in California Has Billionaires Thinking of Leaving
It’s uncertain whether the proposal will reach the statewide ballot in November, but some billionaires like Peter Thiel and Larry Page may be unwilling to take the risk.

No. Someone should tell him to gtfo of our government.
Should someone tell him who wrote “White Christmas” and where that person was born.

What a miserable person
President Donald Trump gifted the world with nearly 200 Truth Social posts (and counting) on Christmas Day, where he amplified conspiracy theories about the 2020 election and called for a member of Congress to be deported.

Something, something Bill Clinton tarmac
Axios has learned the White House has begun managing the DOJ's account on X to respond to posts highlighting mentions of Trump in the Epstein files.

In typical administrations, there is a wall between the White House and what is supposed to be an independent Justice Department.
Scoop: Trump administration expects Epstein files release could last another week
The White House has begun managing the DOJ's account on X, an effort to finish out the year and the Epstein file disclosure requirements set by Congress.

I mean it is not like he pardoned an army of goons he incited to attack the US Capitol and hang his Vice President oh wait
We don’t spend enough time discussing how the entire MAGA movement is kept afloat by the constant threats of stochastic terrorism orchestrated by the president of the United States.

Congress, the courts, much of the media … all kept in line by the mob boss and his army of anonymous goons.

Kavanaugh in a footnote in today's opinion says "the officers must not make interior immigration stops or arrests based on race or ethnicity."

Happy Belated Hanukkah @martylederman.bsky.social !
The crux of the majority’s reasoning is here. The issue was barely touched in the lower courts but @martylederman.bsky.social highlighted it in amicus brief to SCOTUS, prompting the justices to invite supplemental briefing from the parties.

The DOJ identified at least 10 co-conspirators who worked with Epstein and Maxwell. It’s obvious to anyone with two eyes that Epstein and Maxwell were engaged in organized crime, yet NO ONE ELSE involved in Epstein’s sex trafficking ring has faced criminal charges. Why?

When this comes up in my timeline I'm going to continue reposting it. A complete shanda.
A prime example of letting the perfect be the enemy of the good.

Bernie wanted a bigger bill, so he blocked a bipartisan kids' cancer research bill that would have given children access to experimental life-saving treatments. But given his legislative record, will a bigger bill ever get passed?
