Excellent investigative journalism by @natlash.bsky.social exposes USDA when pressed about research into avian flu spread in Midwest.

“The USDA returned a public records request that likely would have contained some of those facts, but every piece of information was redacted.”

There is some benefit to not responding to their feelings of betrayal with animosity, smugness, or shaming, & instead responding with understanding - just acknowledging that it sucks to feel betrayed or let down by people you had supported. You don't have to comfort or forgive them. Still goes far.

We're primarying John Fetterman.

Last week, Fetterman again sold out working Pennsylvanians. He was the deciding vote for a Republican budget bill that will strip healthcare from over 400,000 Pennsylvanians.

We deserve real working class leadership in the Senate, not a Trump-enabling Democrat.

The first camera I bought with my own money, I bought used from a man in Brooklyn with a numbered tattoo on his arm.

He told me a story of how Leica sent Jews to America with Leica cameras to make them “sales” people. The goal was to rescue them and get them out of Germany.

I bought that camera.
