I feel a bit small mentioning very new singers in comparison to these greats, but I've recently enjoyed Javed Bashir and Akbar Ali's Naina Moray. Javed Bashir especially kills it in this song

Something a bit personal today. Meeting the legend fareed Ayaz, leader of the Sufi Qawali tradition who traces his lineage to 25 generation back to 600-700 years to Amir Khushro ! It was like meeting god himself! he sang was: kya thamasha dikha diya thoone; mujkohi mujhse mila diya thune" 1/2

In WWII, my Grandfather met with/Pope Pius XII as part of an effort to route folks through Catholic churches to safety from occupied territories.
When the Pope entered, everyone bowed down to him... except my Grandfather who believed no person should bow down in front of another.
This is gross.

I can't tell you how many interviews I've done where I've been asked: If Trump's policies are so problematic, why are U.S. stocks rising so rapidly.
A bit of international context illustrates the real issue here.
U.S. stocks have dramatically underperformed other advanced economies.

You go to grocery store. You can see prices go up with your own eyes. 📈
Fox gives Trump a platform during their NFL broadcast to peddle his absurd lies about "prices are coming way down", "we inherited a mess," and "our country has over $17 trillion being invested in it." Absolutely shameful for all involved.
