I still to this day love the announcement that EC made in their final ever horror comic, they pulled utterly no punches. The censorious political class still pursue artistic endeavours to this day.

It's just so totally wild to me that people who're egocentric think bragging about how abusive they've been while harassing people while acting as a self-elected gatekeeper for literal decades is some kind of flex, and not a huge red flag for being an arrogant unhinged toxic narcissist.

This reply was to a comment containing a torrent of harassment from someone who had left to an uninformed assumption, and it's why I'm so cautious getting involved in any kink community. Some are great, sure, but they do attract a large number of egotistical people with abusive personalities.

A lot of y'all celebrating this, but you're not thinking about the comic book shops, geek merch shops, gaming shops and movie memorabilia shops which rely on these who will go bankrupt without Funko.
What, you expect they'll just stock comics, geek merch, games and movie memorabilia?

Watching Fear Street: Prom Night last night and oh my god, the narrator dumps all of the main characters onto the audience by voiceover in like a 2-minute narration exposition at the very start of the film, and it reminds me of how organically the introduction of all the characters in Scream was.
