So like, the reason furries have this huge influx of puritan culture now is due to decades and generations of furries insisting "No, this really isn't a sexual thing". This was a survival mechanic in the 90s and 00s, so it's understandable but it meant a lot of folks took it as the truth.

Having spent an entire career in games, I still find it disappointing how many people involved in the business of games despise, are embarrassed by, or have no interest in games outside of the notion of making a line go up.
Imagine playing in a world where the story, environment & world lore were all slop. No profound interconnections, no elaborate web of meaning underlying it & holding it all together. No greater story to reveal once you see how the pieces play off each other. Just slop vomited everywhere

I totally respect this Jovan Bradley guy, and it's true that simply asking someone's pronouns is a litmus test for how honest they are.
