I just learned that the Nintendo DS has turned 21, the Wii just turned 19 and the Xbox360 is now 20yo.

I held on to a laptop for 11 years and only just replaced it this year with a used one for under $400.
There's been no appreciable gain in having faster phones, and Windows 11 isn't much more demanding than Windows 10.
Prices go up, but there's no commensurate gain.
