Oh hi! Did you know that I have a YouTube channel that I occasionally neglect for long stretches? Well I'm planning to start uploading stuff again, so if you dig me/are madly in love with me, you're welcome to subscribe to me there if you're chill and cool.

Damn, an absolute legend. He was in soooooo many of the classic Japanese movies I grew up watching, there can't be many actors in history with a filmography as stacked as his.
Tatsuya Nakadai (1932–2025)

I literally had the reverse thought today: if I could just get a billion people to give me one dollar each...
If just 10 of my followers give me $1 billion I’d be set.

I'm such a big fan of the Mavs' classic logo/uniforms/court combo. This is so clearly what they need to go back to; they're meant to be a green-and-blue team with a giant cowboy hat involved somewhere. (That could keep the horse logo, and have the horse wear the cowboy hat.)

Co-sign. We have done this the last few years and it is worth every penny. This year, my husband bought a ticket package and league pass was included.
Oh btw, a PSA before I forget: if you're thinking about buying NBA League Pass, I highly recommend holding off until Black Friday. Last year they were selling Premium after Thanksgiving for only $55, which was a pretty huge discount.

I think finding out Seth McFarlane was supposed to be on one of the planes that crashed into the WTC on 9/11 was the first trivia I ever heard as a kid that made me think "wow, that's insane trivia."

Once again, it's time for an NBA ON PEACOCK MONDAY. Bow to your multicolored bird overlords.

Imagine if 40 years from now, Nico Harrison was still running the Dallas Mavericks. That's basically the Democratic party.

The Democrats: it's vital that we start appealing more to men and making inroads in bro culture.

Also the Democrats: Oh God, please take our lunch money, Republicans. And our wallets. And our keys. And our clothes too. Do whatever you want, just save us from having to stand up for something.

I will not support the Republican bill that I was visibly ecstatic about pushing over the finish line for them

A few years ago, the NBA came out with its list of the 76 best players and 15 best coaches during its first 75 years of existence. The only guy who was on both lists? Lenny Wilkens.

Trump in the broadcast booth during live play 😑

All my conservative relatives are convinced the Democrats rigged the 2020 election when the actual Democrats can't even let Trump stew in a terrible situation of his own making for five minutes without wanting to help him out for zero political gain.

Fox just had their studio team observing the national anthem and Cletus the giant football robot did NOT salute America. Shameful.

The symbolism of the richest man in human history being a deeply unsatisfied miserable loser is pretty on the nose.

pre-writing a devastating obituary for your enemy is god-tier hating of a kind you don’t often see anymore. renaissance haterism. beautiful stuff.
A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.
