Oh hi! Did you know that I have a YouTube channel that I occasionally neglect for long stretches? Well I'm planning to start uploading stuff again, so if you dig me/are madly in love with me, you're welcome to subscribe to me there if you're chill and cool.

It's funny how Time's Athlete of the Year award is a very serious and prestigious award meant to be taken as an absolute honor, and then you get to their Person of the Year award and it could be given to literally anyone or anything. Hell, I even won it one year.

The fact that two of the finalists in the NBA Cup can't actually play on their special NBA Cup home courts because they've been deemed a safety hazard is objectively funny.

More than anything, what I'd love to see from NBA on Prime broadcasts are sporadic ad reads for some of their anime shows. Like I should get to hear Eric Collins plug City The Animation during a free-throw tonight, it'd be amazing.

Once again, the eyes of the nation turn towards the elimination round of the Emirates NBA Cup

This is still one of the single coolest things that's ever happened.
20 YEARS AGO TODAY: Tracy McGrady scores 13 PTS in the the game's final 35 seconds to give the Rockets a comeback victory over San Antonio.

McGrady had 33 PTS/8 REB/5 STL and Yao Ming added 27 PTS/10 REB in Houston's 81-80 win. Tim Duncan had 26 PTS/18 REB/7 BLK to lead the Spurs.

Jay Huff, a total journeyman on his fifth team in five years, becoming the best shot blocker in the NBA completely out of nowhere is a pretty damn cool story.

At last, I'm free. Just me and this shelf in the void of emptiness forever.

Online shopping rules because you'll be looking for shelving and the top rated product will have a photo of a woman in a yellow dress next to it for some reason and you'll have to guess if it's an acceptable amount of slop to go with a product these days or an abnormal amount.

Shame nobody has covered this because I think it's a pretty interesting story. Took a while to research.

I'm disappointed it took me this long to learn that when they tore down the Boston Garden, they discovered a mummified monkey corpse in the rafters - which is an amazing thing to imagine being just out of frame of every 80's Celtics home highlights.
Could this finally be proof that the Boston Garden monkey was real?
The saga continues—with some (fair warning: slightly gross) photos.

It's as though the Chiefs had a 20-year supply of devil magic that they decided to allocate entirely into last season and it ran out in the Super Bowl and this is kinda just what they are now.

Congratulations to Jeff Kent, who becomes the first person to make the Baseball Hall of Fame who once injured themselves falling off a motorcycle and then tried to save face by claiming he'd actually hurt himself by slipping while washing his truck.

Capital One Guy is such a lame mascot that they had to put Samuel L Jackson in an ad just to boost up how much we apparently all love Capital One Guy.

When will they make a cinematic Chess universe with movies based on each of the pieces? I demand that Pawn No. 7's backstory finally be told.

I'm about to apply for this, but on the off chance a coconut falls on Ben's head and in a state of pure delirium he doesn't accept my application (the only plausible explanation), I'll just throw it out there that I'm looking for more writing/social media work, so if anyone out there is hiring: 👋.

It's funny how we love dogs and we love mascots, and yet whenever there's an anthropomorphic dog mascot, it never hits right. Teams should take a page out of UGA and Washington and just have an actual, living dog for its mascot instead.
