What can I say but Fuck Meta. They’re killing so many amazing studios to do what? Focus on making the world an even worse place? Garbage company.
I'm hearing some really disheartening news that Camouflaj, the studio behind Batman: Arkham Shadow, may have been completely laid off, including Ryan Payton and Matt Walker, despite reports saying otherwise.
Heartbreaking news if true. This team poured everything into that game.

I feel vindicated because I was convinced that this was the case when I was watching it. It's not definitive proof but I swear some of the dialogue and the script was so samey and repetitive and soulless. It has that distinct feel of having been regurgitated by a machine.

damn, had to break news to someone who just watched a Nick Robinson video; about the fact that he's known as a creep who (allegedly made sockpuppet accounts to, or at the very least has sycophants) whitewash that fact

i remember when i was in their shoes....

also i offer this article for laughs

No other word has done more damage to the craft of writing in recent years than “content”. Even if you’re using the word “content” ironically, or as a cute little joke, don’t. When someone calls writing “content” they’re pissing on someone’s hard work & passion. “Content” is Technosatan’s henchword.

The fact of the matter is that this is the tomb raider expert, so if anyone in my periphery is going to be covering the million tomb raider games coming out imminently, Daryl's the one to bring in on it.
But I will say: There's going to be a lot of Tomb Raider things happening this year.

So whether you're looking for a talking head on a podcast, or someone to help with features/lists, etc about the series, I am available!

Absolutely awful news. I only interacted with Patrick a handful of times but he always seemed like a really good dude. RIP.
The family of Patrick Dane has made public today the devastating news that their beloved son and brother was in a car accident on December 27th and is no longer with us. His father and stepmother, who were also in the vehicle, are in critical condition, but stable.

Extremely lame that Pokopia isn't getting a proper physical release. I know it will likely be iterated on with updates but there's no excuse for not having a playable base game on cart.

Someone needs to tell me which games, exactly, had an empty open world hub that people loved. It's on par with Hyrule Field in OOT (1998) but more boring.
Nintendo has said rebooting Metroid Prime 4 for a second time was considered “out of the question”, despite committing to an open-world hub formula that faced ‘changed’ player trends by the time it was completed.

As promised, PMG has just donated $5000 to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund.

We've made the donation to PCRF directly as our fundraiser on YouTube has now completed, but if we add the two figures together that's a total amount of $61,914.62.

Thank you so, so much to everyone who participated!
