Still a bit annoyed there's no physical version of the cover on the right...

The futuristic outfit and glowing butterflies in the background do such a better job of conveying this game's visual identity than Man With Gun #237

Anno 117 is nowhere near as deep or complicated as 1800, but that's not necessarily a bad thing...

Anno 117: Pax Romana is the one of the most beautiful strategy games ever, but it’s not as deep as its predecessor
Rome was built in a day, apparently

Hitman's Paris level was originally gigantic, with a multi-storey restaurant in addition to the palace.

This was cut early on, but was eventually re-used as the starting point of the Bangkok hotel level - hence the slightly incongruous French colonial architecture.

Some interesting comments from the devs here about how each level of 2016's Hitman was meant to fulfil a different spy movie fantasy.

Paris is Bond, Sapienza is Mission Impossible, Marrakesh is Jason Bourne, and so on.

still thinking constantly about how awful bloodlines 2 was more than two weeks after rolling credits - genuinely can't think of another game that has left such a long lasting negative impression

The Outer Worlds 2 surprised me with how biting and relevant some of its quests are, e.g. a refugee subplot, so I asked Obsidian's Leonard Boyarsky if the team would be comfortable making the same game in today's political climate. The answer is... maybe? Probably
