Christopher Dawson won hundreds of millions in federal contracts, promising to help Native Hawaiians.

Documents suggest he pocketed the profits to invest in a beachfront horse farm and luxury homes.

He Spent Funds Meant for Native Hawaiians on Polo and Porsches. The Federal Government Failed to Stop Him.
A small business program allowed Christopher Dawson to win big contracts if he promised to uplift Native Hawaiians. Instead, federal prosecutors allege, he used the money to line his own pockets.

Good rebuttal thread
I have tried to be kind towards this article but it is not possible. A man so ignorant of the issues being discussed that he turned to a chatbot to do his research is granted column inches is astounding.

My friend, the academic @shelleybwoke.bsky.social comments that there is a large paycheque

Response from cabinet office regarding how Akua, introduced and advertised at the event as EHRC commisioner misrepresents law, but that's fine, because they said that they are there in personal capacity.

How does that happen part was not responded to.

@goodlawproject.org may have a laugh

Morbidly funny that the Bluesky mil guys spent November/December melting down about leftists speculating that this might be about oil
Kind of amazing how someone as dumb and unsophisticated as Trump is simply manages to perfectly crystalize US foreign policy this century. He's on Fox & Friends just straight up saying "yeah we're going to put our own guy in there and take the oil"

I don't know what to call it. It's been bizarre listening to a decades-long parade of government officials telling lies about this that everyone immediately recognizes as lies, and it's bizarre that we've reached the point that the lies are no longer seen as necessary

Trump to Fox & Friends on the raid that captured Maduro: "I mean, I watched it literally l like I was watching a television show. If you would've seen the speed, the violence -- it was an amazing thing."

I mean they keep saying this over and over and over that only looting, pillaging, and rape are masculine and things like environmental conservation, diplomacy, and empathy are part of the “woke mind virus” or feminization that needs to be destroyed. This is how they rule in red religious areas so…

If I were alive during World War II, I wouldn’t actually oppose the Allies fighting the Nazi Germany and its allies because somebody had to stop them, and the other states were the only entities realistically capable of doing that at the time. All states being bad doesn’t change that!

A lot of people seem to think that anarchists are inherently incapable of being pragmatic, and it’s just bizarre to me every time.

Yes, I think that every state is illegitimate and shouldn’t exist. No, that doesn’t mean I’m incapable of assessing the present reality and making judgement calls.

A reign of terror in which the proletariat brutally murder their oppressors and risk going too far? Seems like a pretty nice problem to have compared with the status quo tbh.

Any time I call for these mass murdering psychopaths to be stopped, without fail, some sneering liberal pops up in my mentions to go "Oh you want the state to intervene? How very *anarchist* of you" and I would like to stress that I don't care who does it so long as it gets done.

Perhaps now people will stop wishcasting about the US military refusing illegal orders. That's not a thing that happens. The 100% compliance rate with using civilian boats for target practice was a bit of a tell.

Like, if you're gonna refuse to follow illegal orders, I think they can tell and either A) make sure you're not in the military after a bit or B) don't ask you to do illegal orders
