Once again plugging the 5 Calls app. It gets you the numbers of your House representative and both of your senators, provides scripts for what to say on upcoming votes. Easy and accessible. In my experience I usually just end up leaving voicemails to their offices.
So the House is going to vote TOMORROW on the DHS funding bill that includes funding for ICE.
There's a real chance we can get Dems to vote NO on any bill with ICE funding to sink it.
Once it goes to the Senate we likely lose this chance.

Theory: another reason why the powers that be are against mass transit is that mass transit allows you to Not Be Isolated in Bumfuck Nowhere and Actually Get Exposed to Things outside the 50 miles of corn/wheat/soybean fields that surround you
Outside the US, you might look at maps like this and think most people voted for Trump, but most of America is empty or sparely populated space. A majority of the population lives in the blue dots. Land doesn't get a vote. People do. The actual people did not vote for this.

The people who are hurting the most from what America is doing are AMERICANS, and yes, I count immigrants as Americans. The most vulnerable among us, the ones being targeted, are rarely people who voted for any of this, and in fact were denied the right to cast a vote that would get counted.
