i think the main shift here is that this was a middle aged white guy with a license to carry. the new out-group encompasses not just racial minorities but all regime dissidents (this is completely unsustainable btw)
there must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect

This is not materially different from Josef Mengele. The concept is to deliberately expose people to serious harm so you can gather more data on what you already know will hurt them. It's not some big coincidence the Nuremberg Code expressly prohibits everything resembling this kind of "science."

I voted for Harris and would do so again, but it's genuinely bizarre to blame those of us with a moral backbone for all of this. I think she should have taken a harder line on I/P. I think she would have been rewarded for it. The other cause in the picture is like burrito taxi prices
