The president of the united states is a pedophile rapist who was best buddies with Jeffrey Epstein and spent hours with an underage victim at Epstein's home. Now he's currently huddled in the situation room directing a cover up about it like it's a seal team 6 operation. Do I have that right?

What happened, @nytimes.com? Why not stand by your original headline? Because it’s absolutely an accurate representation of this trash conversation.

To publish this at all should be a fireable offense - but to publish it as women’s rights are being decimated is deeply immoral, bordering on evil

Many parenting books and articles advise “It takes a village” and “Don’t be afraid to ask for help.” The problem is, @olgakhazan.bsky.social writes, “I didn’t have a village,” and many other moms don’t either:

When people celebrate the individual genius of folks in science, they should also
mourn the collective loss of genius of folks who were actively discouraged or disadvantaged from a career in science because of the same person(s)

Yes, some people's legacies are complicated. For example, Watson. After all, though he was racist, don't forget his other traits. For example, he was also sexist. And also anti-semitic. And a data / idea thief. So let's not forget all the different facets.

James Watson was an extreme misogynist and racist who stole Rosalind Franklin’s DNA research. Full Stop.

This article alone has 4 examples of ChatGPT encouraging young people to commit suicide, and OpenAI’s own public stats estimate over a million users discuss suicide with ChatGPT each week.

The world sucks right now but my 5 yr old just got up on stage at her school assembly and told a 1000 kids they were all beautiful.

Scientist James Watson has died. As per his final requests, he will be buried in such a position that he can still look over the shoulder of the grave of Dr. Franklin, just in case zombie Rosalind discovers something else worth swiping.

I see James Watson has died.

What did Watson discover?

Rosalind Franklin's lab notes.

Only we spell it 'S-T-E-A-L' these days.

I saw him speak 10+ years ago and was witness to the amount of overt sexism & rascism in his talk about his career. I will never forget the the pictures he put up of Rosalind Franklin serving coffee and the ‘biologists just observe, they don’t think’ jab.

Well now, would you look at that?

A massive study of NEARLY 300,000 people in the United States found that receiving an updated 2024-2025 mRNA COVID-19 vaccine REDUCED people’s risk of severe disease AND death in ALL age groups, REGARDLESS of immunity from prior infection or vaccination.
