It’s not weird at all. Elite recruits wanted to play for Saban because of his proven history of putting them in the NFL after 3 years with big contracts. Now they can get paid in college; parity was always the end result.
Weird how Alabama’s dominance in college football has sort of fallen off now that everyone can pay players.
